Fax to Email

Option Telecom’s secure business fax to email or fax2email service allows your incoming faxes to be received as pdf email attachments and stored on your PC or Mac. They can easily be viewed by clicking on the attachment, or accessed via an on-line administration account.

You can run your fax to email service using the following number types.

Fax Archiving & OCR (optical character recognition)

As an optional extra you can also subscribe to our Fax Archiving and OCR service.  This enables you to digitally and securely store all your faxes off site whilst locating individual faxes using OCR technology. 

How does it work?

Each time a fax is received our powerful systems convert the faxes to Adobe OCR pdf’s.  Faxes are then archived for the required period.  At any stage you can search for a required fax using search words. E.g.  Search for all the faxes with the words “London” & “Olympics” in? Additional search criteria can also be applied such at date and time etc..

The service will then display a list of all the faxes that meet the search criteria.
